Increase/Optimize Pen Drive Speed!-

There is Trick to Increase USB or Pen Drive Speed by more than Two Times. This Trick can improve the USB or Pen Drive performance and moreover Speed Up the Computer to some Extent. To use this Trick just follow the simple Steps : 1) Connect the USB or Pen Drive to Computer. 2) Open My Computer >> Right Click USB or Pen Drive >> Properties. 3) Then on the Hardware Tab select the USB or Pen Drive connected and then click Properties >> Policies Tab. 4) Now select "Optimize for Performance" Option rather than "Optimize for Quick Removal" and click Ok. 5) Now just Format the USB or Pen Drive with NTFS File System by Selecting Format Option from the Drop Down Menu of Formatting. 6) Now it is done. So it is a simple Trick to Increase USB or Pen Drive Speed.

 This trick will increase your pen-drive's more than twice.
Just Follow my Steps:

1. Plug in your Pen-drive to your Computer's USB Port.

2. Browse to My Computer, and right click on your Pen-drive's drive and click on Properties.

3. A Dialog box will appear, then click on Properties making sure that your Device is Selected.

4. Click on "Change Settings".

5. Choose for Better Performance and Click OK!

Success! You have optimized your pen-drive's speed!

Copy Data automatically From USB to your PC On Insert-

We sometime wish that if someone insert his/her USB Into your pc then its data automatically copy in to your system in hidden Form.

there is no need of software in this. we will make it possible with the help of some Dos commands.

lets get started, Follow the below steps.

1. open cmd2. type copy con filename.bat3. now type "xcopy

i: f:\copied /h /s /c /q /i" remove " "4. type Exit, press f65. now it will create a batch file named filename.bat

xcopy is a command which is used to copy file and folder              i: is the name of your pen-drive drive name replace with your drive name.

f:\copied is the name of folder where you wish to copied data is to be placed replace with your own folder or path, /h is used to copy hidden files also, Now copy this file into desktop now whenever someone insert his/her USB into your system then click on this file his data is automatically copied into the folder specified by you.

Use Your Pen Drive As RAM-

One of the best ways of using Pen Drive is as a temporary storage device i.e. RAM for our system, to increase the general boot up speed and also operational speed of the system. It can be possible with any kind of Windows operating system, all you need is a pen drive of minimum 1GB memory.

Now go with the following steps:

1. Insert the Pen Drive with 1GB at least in the USB port, better to prefer 4GB.

2. Wait for the PC to detect the pen drive.

3. After detecting it, there is a real and smart thing to do.4. Right click on My Computer--> Properties.5. Advanced--> Performance Settings.6. Advanced--> Change.7. Select the Pen Drive.8. Click on Custom Size.             "Check the value of space available"9. Enter the same in the Initial and Max columns.

 "Here you just used the space of Pen Drive as a Virtual Memory"10. Now restart your PC.]

Finally check the general start up time and also speed of your PC. So, you can have a high speed system in low cost.

Assign a Coustom Icon to your Flash Drive-

multiple thumb drives on a regular basis, the TipMonkies weblog has an easy way to automatically assign a custom icon to each one when it's plugged into your PC.

Simply find an .ico file or Open an image in Paint (Click Start Button > Programs > Accessories > Paint). Image resolution must be 100*100 or bellow. Then save it as AUTORUN.ico file.

Open Notepad and write the following text-

[autorun]ICON=AUTORUN.ICO           

Save it as autorun.inf file.

Finish. Now paste these two files in to your Pen Drive (Open Pen Drive and paste).

Now remove your Pen Drive and Plug in again. You will see that your Pen Drive’s icon becomes change.

Assign a Coustom Background(wallpaper)to your Flash Drive -

1. Open your flash drive
2. Copy a picture to it and rename it as test.jpg
3. Right click and create a new Text file, open it
4. Paste this code:

{BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}={BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}

  5.     Save the file as desktop.ini

Refresh by pressing F5 key

Noted That: Some Antivirus show autorun.inf as a virus. But your autorun.inf file contains no virus.
